The Nebraska Medical Center is home the United States' busiest intestinal transplant program. But intestinal failure does not always mean a transplant is necessary. The Nebraska Medical Center also houses the Intestinal Rehabilitation Program. The doctors, nurses and coordinators who run the program take a close, personal interest in every patient, and believe once you are part of the intestinal rehab program, you are family.
