You can still have a traditional holiday meal without going overboard on fat and calories. Staff from The Nebraska Medical Center's Diabetes Center organized this "Healthy Eating for the Holidays" demonstration to give people new perspectives on traditional holiday favorites. For example, using splenda instead of sugar to sweeten hot cider; use your leftover turkey and low-sodium beans to make a delicious turkey chili.
