What to Pack When You're Expecting - Bellevue Medical Center
New parents have a lot to worry about; including what to put in that "let's go the hospital" bag. Bellevue Medical Center labor and delivery nurse Michelle Struebing says it's a good idea to be prepared about a month before the due date. A few examples of things to have in the bag ready to go: socks and slippers, something comfortable to wear (like pajamas) for after baby is born, a nursing bra and nursing pads. Also, don't forget the car seat! Hospital staff legally can't install it for you, so it's a very good idea to take a car seat education session before baby comes.
