These are the survival rates for all stages of oral cancer combined according to Cancer Facts & Figures 2010 from the American Cancer Society:

  • The 1-year survival rate for all stages combined for people with oral cavity or pharynx cancer is about 83 percent.

  • The overall 5-year survival rate is about 61 percent.

  • The 10-year survival rate is about 50 percent.
