Can I Be Checked for Multiple Myeloma Before I Have Symptoms?

Screening tests check for signs of cancer in people who don’t have any symptoms. There is no standard screening test for the early detection of multiple myeloma. People who believe they are at risk should talk with their doctor. Unfortunately, doctors have not yet found a way to prevent multiple myeloma.
